Three people. Three different problems. The stack that connects them has four layers. Buying the wrong layer does not fix the right problem.
1. Books: Tally Prime (ledger, stock, GST classification). 2. Filing: CA or Clear (GSTR-1, 2B, 3B). 3. Capture: EntryLedger (photocopy to validated Tally voucher). 4. People: clerks who review, map ledgers, chase suppliers. One vendor rarely does all four well.
Tally: books

Clear: filing
Clear files GSTR-1, GSTR-2B, GSTR-3B. It has GSTN APIs. It has a CA channel. It has 2B recon. If you need filing software, Clear is a good choice. We do not file. See Clear vs EntryLedger. See 1 vs 2B vs 3B.
The sentence to use in a meeting: keep Clear for filing. Run a 500-scan bake-off on the photocopy tail. Count what reached Tally without a human, and whether each exported total actually summed.
EntryLedger: capture
We sit in front of Tally. Scans in. GSTIN checksum, HSN, arithmetic, regime. Pass: export. Fail: review. That is the gate. See scan to Tally. See NEEDS_REVIEW.
We do not file. We do not keep books. We do not replace the CA. We are the thing that sits between the photocopy pile and Tally, and proves the GSTIN and the rupees before the voucher hits the ledger.
People: clerks
Clerks review the queue. Clerks map vendor names. Clerks chase suppliers for better scans. Clerks confirm borderline rows. The product does not replace the clerk. It reduces the time the clerk spends on rows that are clearly wrong. See review UI. See vendor mapping.
Buying order
Do not migrate Tally to fix scans. Do not rip Clear to buy us. Do not buy us thinking we replace the CA. Buy the layer that fixes the problem you named. If the problem is photocopy entry, buy the gate. If the problem is filing, buy Clear. If the problem is books, evaluate Tally vs Zoho vs Busy on their sites.
